General wrongly interpreted and being subjected to unfair criticism

Feel sad for General VK Singh for unfair attack against him by media/ opposition

However, Should leaders in BJP/ RSS like General VK Singh not be careful enough about what they choose to say during crucial situations ?

Current spate of attack on General VK Singh for his alleged remark about Dalits is most unfair, most unfortunate. While, opposition is deliberately twisting the statement of General VK Singh so as to damage the prospects of NDA in Bihar elections, Media, already feeling peeved with General's presstitute remarks about them, is using this opportunity to portray him as anti dalit by quoting his "stoning dog" remark out of context. What he tried to convey was that for everything happening anywhere in country, you can't hold centre responsible .However, opposition being too eager to use anything against NDA in Bihar elections has seized this golden opportunity and media is supplementing to opposition's efforts for their own agenda ie. settling score against Gen VK Singh for his presstitute remarks against media.

While, one may sympathise with Gen VK Singh as he is being unfairly attacked by media/ opposition to suit their agenda; however it is also a fact that certain leaders in BJP/RSS are not careful enough about what they choose to say on crucial occasions.

If some one chooses to be in public life especially in politics, he/she must sound politically correct all the time. For example, when RSS chief made statement about need for review of reservation policy, he would have never meant need for abolishing reservation policy.What he would have meant was that reservation policy should be tweaked to include most deserving ones and exclude elites among backwards and SCs/STs. To be fair to RSS Chief, he articulated voice of millions of Indians who still want reservation to continue in favour of poor and those at the bottom from among SCs/STs , OBCs, poorest among upper castes.However, RSS Chief chose a wrong occasion to make this statement about reservation. He should have known, any such statement would be twisted by people like Lalu( whose mainstay is only caste politics) during Bihar election campaign.

In a nutshell, BJP leaders like Gen VK Singh should know they are in politics and hence they should be careful enough not to say anything, which may give opportunity to opposition/ media to exploit his statement against him or his party that too during critical occasions like do or die situation for his party in Bihar elections.
